Episode 286 - Highest and Best Interest

In this episode, we talk about how we serve. It is not enough just to say “I;m going to serve someone.” Often that implies something short-term or short-lived. The depth of the service demonstrates the depth of the love. I can help someone pick up things they dropped without even knowing them. I would do that just because they are in need, and I want to serve. Highest and best interest implies that we serve according to what is needed, rather than just wants. It is easy to see when you look at a parent who won’t let a chile eat candy for every meal. God serves us sometimes what we need instead of what we think we want. If we are to create the Ultimate Life, can we do less?
