Episode 310 - Persuasion

In this episode, we talk about persuasion. Some feel this is almost a dirty word. There is so much use of persuasion tactics to get us to buy this or support that. But persuasion doesn’t have to be evil. We can’t make people believe or do anything really, so our only real tool is persuasion. How does that work? First, what is the intent of your persuasion? Are you persuading to get something for yourself? Are you pretending something is good for someone so that you can get benefit. There is real danger of confusing yourself here. Honesty about your true motives is critical. Yes, there is such a thing as good persuasion. We all have our ability to choose, and must use that wisely. Honest persuasion honors that choice.
