Is Service Selfish - #543

In this episode, we talk about the real benefits to us when we choose to serve. We know we grow when we serve. If it’s easy and convenient, we grow a little from our effort. We feel good inside, and we know we have done something to help someone in need. We know we might get some recognition. If this “feel-good” is our driver, then we have been rewarded. But there is much more. Deep in our souls, we also know that we expand in our substance as human creatures when we sacrifice our own comfort to bless the lives of others. We can choose to do real and hard things in service, knowing that we truly develop into more when we love and serve. This is not selfish. It is a choice to grow.
