Often Service Is Private, #541

In this episode, we talk about things that happen when only you and God know what is going on. You may secretly deliver food to someone in need. You may give anonymously to an organization. You may spend time making something that is given as part of a larger project. All those things are private. The key to developing the pillar of service is the stance of your heart. Why are you serving? Is it because you are “supposed to?” Is everyone at the office participating so you feel weird if you don’t? Or is it because you have a yearning to express our common humanity and participate in the greater effort to lift and bless everyone around you? Nothing is hidden from your own heart or from God.
